My Grandfather was born in Cardiff Wales England,in 1881.
I never knew him, he passed away before when I was 1 year old.
But our Grandmother who lived to a ripe old age, and in the same house,

we learned of him through her.  Its kind of neat to know that your
Grandfather was a part of something so big, yet so tragic. Walter was on the
"RMS Carpathia"en-route to the
"RMS Titanics" aid. his serial number on the ship was, Z87452 .
I would like to share the fact that my Grandfather was aboard the "RMS Carpathia",
when en-route to the RMS Titanic's aid on April 14th 1912.
She sank early on Sunday morning on the 15th.
